Our Project Phases:
Building a Sustainable Impact
At Basketball for Children, we believe in a phased approach to grow and make a lasting difference in the lives of underprivileged children in Colombia. Our project is divided into four key phases, designed to lay a strong foundation and progressively expand our reach and impact:
Phase 1: Bring basketball to every corner of the first department
We chose the department of Tolima to start. An important department in Colombia due to its central location from which future expansion will be easier. In the first phase we want to open a training school in each municipality of this department.
Phase 2: Regional Expansion
Establish Sports trainings Schools in Key Colombian Cities.
Bring Basketball for Children academy to key cities in different regions of Colombia, considering factors such as child population, the need for sports and values programs, and existing sports infrastructure.
Goal: Over 1,000 boys and girls, supported by 10,000 subscribers.
Phase 3: Nationwide
A Sports Training School in Every Colombian Department.
Upon reaching 100,000 subscribers, establish a Basketball for Children sports training school in each Colombian department, expanding the project’s reach and impact throughout the country, with the aim to involve over 10,000 children in our program
Phase 4: Sustainability and Growth
Strengthen and Expand the Basketball for Children Model.
Ensure the sustainability and continuous growth of sports training schools by establishing long-term partnerships and generating additional resources to improve the quality and scope of the programs.
It's a great plan!
By following these phases, Basketball for Children will grow gradually, ensuring impact and sustainability over time. Each phase will serve as the groundwork for the next, allowing us to learn and adapt our strategy as needed.
