1. Who can join the Basketball for Children program?
Our program is designed for underprivileged children in Colombia, aged 6 to 17 years old. We welcome children from low-income backgrounds who are passionate about basketball and personal growth.
2. What is the cost of the program for the children?
The Basketball for Children program is completely free for the participants. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to access sports training and values education regardless of their financial background.
3. How is Basketball for Children funded?
We rely on the generosity of our subscribers through our “One Dollar, One Dream” campaign, one-time donations, partnerships, and volunteer support to fund our programs, resources, and initiatives.
4. Where are your basketball academies located?
Our first basketball academy will be established upon reaching 1,000 subscribers. As we continue to grow and expand, we plan to open more academies in key cities across Colombia, and eventually in every department.
5. How can I support Basketball for Children?
You can support us in various ways: subscribe to our “One Dollar, One Dream” campaign, make a one-time donation, volunteer your time and skills, spread the word about us on social media, or explore partnership opportunities if you represent a company or organization.
6. How can I cancel my contributions to Basketball for Children?
To cancel your contributions you just have to click on the button below. If you are on a desktop computer, at the top right there is a button that says “Cancel my contributions”, if you are on a cell phone you should go to the bottom of the page and there you will find the “Cancel my contributions” button. You click there and it asks you for your document number. We will send you an email with a link where you can cancel your contribution. Don’t forget to check your spam folder.
6. How do I volunteer for Basketball for Children?
Please click the “Become a Volunteer” button on our “How to Help” section, and fill out the volunteer application form. We will get in touch with you to discuss available opportunities and how your skills can contribute to our mission.
